Brooke Vincent

Cierra Cierra Brooke BrookeBrooke Vincent is a Manchester-born actor who was born in the month of June 1992. She decided to become an actor at seven when she became bored with dancing lessons and swimming. This led her to join Laine Management. Her debut came on television in 2002 as Casey Glass, in League of Gentleman. In 2004, after Emma Woodward, the previous actor on Coronation Street decided to leave the show, Brooke was asked to audition to play Sophie Webster. Brooke was chosen for the role making her debut on 12th May 2004. Brooke graduated from Fairfield High School for Girls after which she went to the University of Manchester which she majored in Drama. Brooke was also offered a position at a hairdresser on Saturdays and in addition to her Coronation Street role. In 2009, in an interview with This Morning, Brooke said she was a fan of her Saturday job but she wasn't allowed to take calls because she has a common voice!

Angela Robinson, an American director and screenwriter for film and television. Outfest Fusion LGBTQ People of Color Film Festival honored Robinson in 2013 with the Fusion Achievement Award, for her work as a media activist for LGBTQ people.
