Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American born in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish and English heritage. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is in each parent's prior marriages. Family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in productions. In her 16th year, she quit school and pursued a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her to be a professional model.
